May of 2002 Ngai Tahu Seafood became a Trade NZ Export Award winner
and a Finalist in the New Zealand Food & Beverage category
at the 2002 Export Awards. The criteria to attain this award were
dogged and tough. They reflect the ongoing high performance of
Ngai Tahu Seafood to meet and exceed customer expectations.
A
second major success in 2002 came with our Mussel and Parsley
Soup product making the top five best new products at the International
Boston Seafood Show from hundreds of entries. The taste and packaging
format continue to be a hit.

further accolade and recognition of our drive to deliver excellent
product on time is acknowledgement of Ngai Tahu Seafood as being
consistently one of the best foreign seafood suppliers to the
prestigious Sydney Fish Market.
